Hi,
We had an idea of creating Christmas postcards as NFTs and the user can create their own art and write a custom note and gift it to their friends. It’s like NFT as a service. We developed the contract and dApp and thought it was a new king of use for web3. I’d really appreciate it if you could take some time and give your opinions about this project.
Twitter and dApp links are in the comments
Sorry mate but that sounds pretty useless, the whole point of christmas cares are their physicality, otherwise you’d just send an email.
Christmas is over. Try again next year
I think the NFT market is in an odd transition. The avante guarde, trendies sorta tired of the place. Yet it’s so darn confusing for the average joe to even make sense of NFTs, the marketplace, the wallet, etc. I think they will soon enough make tools that make it easier for average people to be understanding NFT better. I, too, am aiming for a bit of a normal buyer …not artsy or trendy. And I’ve noticed they aren’t quite on the marketplace yet. BUT when they are and you have your idea in place then it will be dandy. I, too, looked at my mom’s dumb waste of space Chiristmas cards and thought WHY on Earth has nobody made these NFTS. I’d rather have an NFT christmas card because at least the $5 spent was in space (not taking up space) and easily stored and possibly traded later. So I think you are onto something. Just average people haven’t grabbed on to the possibility of NFT because as my whole family at Christmas said to me…….we dont understand NFT! Yet they are exactly the people you want as buyers – they will be there soon enough.
How is this any better then Web2 platforms that do the same exact thing? Or in other worlds… WHY?
