Question about creating an NFT platform from scratch

Hope this isn’t a silly question.

I have an NFT idea (not selling art on existing marketplaces) but an idea that I want to operate as a standalone project (meaning I wouldn’t sell on a marketplace but the project and sales would be coordinated through the standalone project, how do I go about it? Like are there NFT consultants to talk to? Do I create my own marketplace? Do i reach out to technologies like Ethereum for partnership? How is the contracts and payment end handled?
