NFTs of real-world collectibles – what do you think?

JPEG proved a fundamental use case of NFTs: ownership. And that ownership can be extended to something real – something that can be physically redeemed. Think Ebay Vault, but running on Ethereum instead.

It’s how Collect9 is bringing a new niche to the NFT market. NFTs have the potential to solve a lot of problems with non-transparent physical collectibles markets. It’s truly a non-BS use case of blockchain technology.

I’m curious to poll this: are NFTs that offer ownership and possession rights of physical collectibles something you would be interested in? And what are some concerns you may have?

Baby (pun intended) steps. I’ll let you figure out the pun. đŸ™‚
