A person in the past destroyed my heart and I decided to capture my pain and trauma in a digital artwork sold as my first NFT on OpeanSea

This digital artwork represents a very dark moment in my life, after being in a relationship for more than three years with a person I loved with all my being, where I felt how the relationship was getting stronger every day, overcoming adversities and occasional fights, mimicking us in a single being, I felt how the love we had for each other nourished my heart, I thought that everything was reciprocal and all that we had built we would take it to death until one day suddenly everything collapsed, trust and affection was corrupted and I felt how that golden honey turned into poison destroying me inside.

Hi everyone, my name is Alexis Miray and I am a digital artist who wants to portray my traumas and feelings through art, and I want to introduce you to “refraction of a heart”, my first digital artwork packaged as a collection of just two NFT.

I am currently a professor at a high school in Mexico and I can say that fortunately with my job I can live day to day, but unfortunately, I can not support my family economically and it is really frustrating because, with the economic situation and inflation, every day is more difficult to survive, that’s why I’ve been trying to find a second job to have a better quality of life and mainly to be able to support my family, and during the process, I asked myself, why not capture my feelings in a work of art and try to sell it and make a little profit from my traumas.

Creating my first piece of digital artwork was very exciting, despite dealing with a very personal and private subject, the whole process of procreation, from modeling, texturing, animating, creating simulations, and the post production was something I enjoyed doing as a lover of digital art and even in some kind of way turned out even therapeutic.
