Tried to bridge AVAX from Avalanche network to Fantom Opera network on MetMask using SpookySwap and it sent it to a random address?

When you bridge tokens aren’t the sender and receiver supposed to be the same address? MetaMask is the only wallet I have. I am very confused as to where it all went? If this is the wrong sub can someone please point me towards the right sub! Thanks!

EDIT: It says the status is complete/successful on both ends.

  1. Are you sure it went to another address? Did you change the network to Fantom Opera to see if your tokens are there (consider importing the avax token address on Fantom to your metamask wallet or check in debank if you can see the tokens there in fantom)?
Sharing Txn id can be helpful for us to figure out where your avax were sent. Bridging takes some time on the avax network, and then some more time in the Fantom network, make sure transaction is completed in both ends.

  2. it was sent also to your address. but this time your AVAX token is now in the fantom chain.

your AVAX C Chain address is the same as your Fantom mainnet opera address.
