A friend who was walking me through my DeFi setup on Coinbase Wallet said he would “ask customer service for a port for me” and then he sent me the address to copy/paste into my wallet. I’m thinking this is a clear security breach for me, is this correct? I know that different individuals can share ports, as trades are keyed (I believe) to the unique ID of the account, device, etc.
What am I missing here? Am I being scammed?

Lol, how well do you know this guy?
There are no such things as ports you need to worry about in coinbase wallet.

That makes no sense
As a follow up, if this is a clear security breach and I’m at risk of having my USD transferred out of this common port (he gave me the link, I didn’t get it directly from customer service), then what steps should I take now to secure myself?
Bro, if you have to ask “am I being scammed?” Then the answer is YES. It means you didn’t know the dude well enough. I would contact Coinbase immediately and if necessary shut it all down and begin a new account.
