Dont know what will ultimately happen – I hope it will repeg for those still holding (Kwon just posted on Twitter too), but I’m out.
Luckily I’ve been invested since APY was higher, and yields from compounding (Mirror etc) also added some UST so the hit was not as bad as it could’ve been. But I’m seriously relieved now after 2 days as I have many other things which are suffering due to my attention here.
Even though I tell myself and know ‘never invest more than you can afford to lose’, I had a higher % of my portfolio in Anchor than I should’ve. Now we all know. We live and learn.
Some posts on the terra subs are depressing and disturbing. Folks take it easy. Its just money. Don’t take it too seriously.
I’m feeling much better now and ready to move on. Let’s all move on. Life is much more than one bad investment, things will get better!
Best of luck!

Ah yes, it’s just money
was hoping to get $2 a day from the apy. turns to losing -80% in 24hrs.
what a hell of risk-reward ratio
Algo stablecoins like UST are subject to bank runs. Peeps on this thread have issued warnings before but many peeps choose to not believe 🙂 Collaterized stablecoins like USDC are less riskier but the returns are smaller. And so the 20% APY is a big carrot stick for most peeps 🙂
As someone whose looking for a “invest and forget” asset, I’m staying away from algos until a collaterized/algo hybrid model emerges. Others that are willing to stay glued to the markets 24/7 may be OK with a riskier assets.
Good luck, hopefully it gets its peg back!
Can i have them?
I’ve always preferred USDC because it is pegged to the US dollar, I think thats why most merchants accept it on Utrust.
