Cardano users will soon be able to use Ethereum Virtual Machine contracts with any ADA wallet, thanks to an upcoming feature on Milkomeda. This will expand the network’s usability for developers and users, allowing them to build Dapps and [**DeFi**]( applications on Cardano’s network without the need for new toolkits or languages using Solidity on the network. Milkomeda will also enable staking rewards, paid every five days, with rewards for all EVM users, including smart contract developers. This step will increase the utility of Cardano tokens for holders and make it easy for developers to create applications that can be used across multiple networks.
The EVM is just not suitable for defi. Trying to use it on Cardano is not the future of DLT.
EVM can’t scale DeFi at all. Why would anyone want that?
EVM in DeFi is why we saw such consistent high fees, network congestion.
