Payment platforms, which allow people all around the world to conduct online transactions using digital currencies, can be considered one of the most efficient tools for the crypto space to reach global mainstream adoptions.

Some cool projects like Coinovy are providing users with an International Bank Account Number (IBAN), to transfer currencies to their Coinovy wallet and conduct transactions in more than 150 countries around the world.

  1. Crypto payments platforms will be instrumental to mass adoption of cryptocurrency. e-Money has been making the rounds for instant settlements and low fees and with IBAN from Coinovy, this could be the push crypto needs.

  2. Aside helping to reach a wider audience, crypto payment platforms are also facilitating mainstream crypto adoption.

E-money, for example, has partnered with various other projects enhance crypto payments and disbursement by issuing collateralized and 100% backed stablecoins which are well embraced.

  3. Y5 Finance is coming out with both a debit card where you can load your reflections in busd and then use it as you would a regular prepaid visa.

They are also coming out with a round up app which will be compatible with Google and Apple Pay where you can use it to buy something and top the amount to say the nearest dollar and that extra amount will automatically be invested in one or several cryptos of your choosing.

Accessibility to crypto is key for adoption IMO and we’ll see more of it now as we move forward

  5. This is quite intriguing; now I understand why AxlToken wants to be used not only as a currency in Arabic nations, but also on payment platforms to allow people to conduct online transactions; another reason why I believe the partnership with Aevapay was completely in line with what it intends to accomplish in the coming years.

  8. All of the efforts to improve crypto payment systems are genuinely increasing cryptocurrency usage, also, it is important to keep in mind that this will make wallet addresses more exposed to third parties, or hackers. I advocate broad adoption as well, but I am concerned that transaction history and crucial details in my wallet may become visible to third parties since I use some of these sites, therefore I have safeguarded my wallet by using a privacy platform that will hide activity in my wallet.

  9. Totally agree that payment platforms are integral to accessibility and adoption Swipe has been at it but I think generally it’s undervalued also Kaddex raised their pre-seed through simplex.

I really don’t have an opinion about Coinovy, I think what they’re doing is great but why IBAN. Unless maybe I’m missing something.

  12. I’ve said it many times that crypto payment platforms are actually contributing more to crypto adoption than any other aspects. Take a look at how far some of them are going in terms of allowing users make daily transactions using cryptos via few clicks.

CryptoXpress and Utrust remains my top crypto payment platforms. Anticipating the launch of the Xpress crypto cards.
