What is the cheapest and easiest way to DCA during this bear market?

With the current low prices in the market I’d like to start getting back into investing in crypto, and I want to start dollar cost averaging. For those of you who utilize the dollar cost averaging strategy, what platform do you use?

I know that Coinbase offers an easy way to set up automatic payments, but their fees seem kinda steep.

Are there any other platforms that allow for automatic purchases of BTC and ETH but don’t have high fees for doing so? I appreciate any feedback and thank you all in advance!

  1. I use Binance. I monthly send by SEPA all the amount I am going to invest that month and convert it to BUSD. I put it to “stake” to recover the fees and every Monday when I have to DCA I take a part from earn and manually buy the coins I need.

I would say that I pay 1€ fee of SEPA + conversion rate for EUR/BUSD (I use to recover it during the earn period) + conversion rate for BUSD/whatever coin (I think for something like 60€ they charge me 0.06€ fee).

  2. Use a CEX that has automated scheduled fiat buy in capabilities

    Most have them

Auto invest I think it’s called on Binance for example

  3. Metalpay – the combine a wallet and a Banking Account under one roof. You purchase btc and other Coins straight with your Banking Account. No other middle men. Feas are los. For BTC and MTL it’s 0 USD.

Edit to clarify: metalpay or metal is an app but also a coin.

  4. Coinbase is the cheapest on and off ramp I’ve found. Coinbase Pro is the cheapest exchange I’ve found that’s trust worthy to an extent.

  5. I personally use Coinbase Pro to
DCA into BTC and ETH weekly. Then, after the week of waiting to withdraw funds is over, it gets sent to my Leger. Not sure if you get paid weekly or biweekly, but that’s been working for me!

  6. Automaticity is a feature that costs you. CB notoriously buys high on the automatic DCA. Though you set it and forget it. Depends what’s more valuable to you.

  7. I’m in Europe and there isn’t a good platform that allows you to set and forget a DCA so I built my own bot to do it with Binance

  8. Just keep researching and buy weekly/monthly. Don’t use auto services… You pretty much need to be monitoring projects by the week these days.

  9. I do it myself without bots when I feel it’s a good time and price. Sometimes I make a good decision, sometimes I don’t.

  10. Using coinbase pro, I buy about 80-100 a week, between the purchase and the transfer to my hardwallet I only pay a handful of cents.
