Finally caught on video – 6th time KuCoin has robbed me like this and they denied and blamed me for not having any experience trading. How do you explain this and what type of experience is needed now – cyber theft… Think of HOW MUCH these crooks have stolen from all their customers (tens of thousands $ just from me)

I don’t know much about shorting but in the video it looks like it closed the position when your mark price hit $1703.70 which was the actual market price. Is that why it switched to a long position? That is very strange and I’m just curious why it would do that?

This is weird AF and if their UI is regularly bugging on you then they should face some responsibility.

Yeah, my one venture into using their futures was shorting luna while it was cratering. I got liquidated multiple times, and as I was watching the numbers in real time it looked sketchy af. I’m pretty sure it’s a rigged game.
Never gamble at a rigged casino.
Better to learn and start using decentralised leverage trading platforms. DYDX, GMX and GNS are a few you could look into.
Been trading on Kucoin futures for a long time and never seen this, but I always use the desktop. Only use the App to check on my positions. However Kucoin liquidated me so much on scammy wicks that I simply stopped using leverage and stopped using stop loss. If a deal goes bad just forget about it until it comes back and you can also DCA manual deals.
Post it on KuCoin’s reddit sub, twitter, fb, etc.
the same thing is happening in FTX i lost a lot of money there and stop using it. I Will never use leverage again

Everyone is saying it’s UI bug. May be it’s deliberate? 6 times can not be coincidence or bug, but a deliberate feature.

I had something similar happen with them. I had a long position open and as it continued to climb, i was suddenly liquidated for no reason.
Report this to your local law enforcement, that’s straight up illegal and theft.
Your entry was at 1728, market was at 1707 but you were in the negative P&L?

I’d imagine it’s most likely a UI bug, definitely contact their support and post this on r/Kucoin. They should reimburse you, if not definitely make a big post about it here for visibility and pressure
Edit: I don’t use leverage so I didn’t know it looked off, but other comments are saying OP might have just been doing it wrong?
Look up “kucoin shady”, “kucoin scam” and things along those lines and you’ll see no end to it. Personally I never had any issues with them, but I’ve heard so many stories of them screwing over customers that it scared me off and I stopped using them.
I’m sorry but there are several red flags with this video:
– the flickering of the order books is suspicious
– the screenshots provide comvenient ‘cuts’
– PNL does weird shit despite being on a profitable trade first
– noticable lag at 1:12
conclusion: Probably cut and fake.
This has never been reported before. Surely you wouldnt be the only one struck by a bug like this.
just use gains network no scam wicks, guaranteed take profits and stop losses, 150x leverage many pairs, forex, stocks
