#TL:DR- No, Warren Buffet still not interested in Rat Poison.
There was rumours that Buffet finally ready to taste rat poison aka Crypto. But this is not true.
Warren Buffet did bought shares of a Brazilian Digital Bank, Nubank.
Although Nubank doesn’t allow trading in Crypto, it’s investment unit, Nulnvest allow users to invest in Crypto Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs)
People just fell for this news, which isn’t even close to true and adding something like Buffet reduced his position in MasterCard and Visa, to make it more meaningful.
But in reality there is no way Warren Buffet going to invest in Crypto, if you doubt it you should read what one of Waffet’s Business associate Charlie Munger said about Crypto,”Young generation wants to get rich quick without adding any value to the society by investing in Crypto”
News were manipulated as always.
To be fair, he’ll die first before we get to mainstream adoption.
Give it a week before someone makes a coin Rat Poison
good thing i will never ever the slighest care what the media says
He never really had to invest in crypto. Man has my respect, but he’s wrong about many things
Comedy flair?
Warren Buffet certainly had the means and reputation to avoid crypto so that he doesn’t have to admit to being wrong
Where is this buffet everybody keeps talking about? I’m getting hungry
Warren Buffett didn’t invest in Apple until 2016. Anyway time has changed. The older generation rich billionaire will be gone in 1-2 decades and the newer tech will prevail.

Bullish on Rat Poison
what i think is funny too: this is not even new! [They already invested 500 million in it half a year ago](https://www.forbes.com/sites/angelicamarideoliveira/2021/06/08/warren-buffetts-berkshire-hathway-invests-500-million-in-brazilian-challenger-nubank/?sh=4fcf55fd3717). But yeah, everything you are writing is true, this was fake news

I agree let’s give Warren a break, he is too old to put money in Crypto, why wouldn’t play safe at this stage?
Everyone rips on him but everyone would kill to have his money.
I personally don’t think he’ll ever directly invest in crypto.
However, I do think we’ll see Berkshire ramp up investments in crypto-adjacent firms – exchanges etc
If he is in, good for him.
If he is not, his loss.
Most people are ridiculous thinking he actually makes the majority of the trades. He’s got people who do that, and for all you know they give him a paper sheet to make fake trades on to keep him busy.
How can I send buffet some moons
I heard so many names about crypto but never rat poison.
Should I tell to IRS that I am into rat poison industry?
