One of the main arguments against crypto for example by the SEC is its volatility. It’s so volatile that it could harm normal investors and they are not ready for it. How about the SEC opening their eyes and looking at the stock markets recent actions being way more volatile than crypto.
Just last month Facebook saw a record 200b+ wipe off with a 25% drop. I can’t remember the last time BTC even dipped 20% as fast as meta did. Paypal saw the same dip after missing expectations just by 1%. Even shitcoins as shib, floki, ELON do not have such dips.
Aldi recently the stock market has been going hand in hand with crypto dips. Being mostly just as big. Especially nasdaq being down 15% from its ATH.
Not saying that there is no volatility in crypto, but the market is definitely maturing. There are more just side way actions happening nowadays. I would actually like it für crypto to keep some of its volatility forever as that’s the thing that makes it interesting. And I’m sure the retail is very capable of handling more than just 1% per day.
I think if you need to be more honest with yourself
This stock market is acting very different from the norm.
Current market activity is very very strange.
When in doubt just zoom out.
Bruh what? Bitcoin dropped 50%. Most alts more than 70% down from all time high. Definitely not more volatile huh?
Yeah crypto is not much more volatile.
*Meanwhile most of my alts are down 50%*
zoom out
Everyone thought crypto would come more in line with the stock market but it’s like the stock market is more like crypto now
Really depends what time-frame you use. It has been a wee bit more volatile over the last 5-10 years.

What a strange time we live in where fucking Shiba is doing better than Facebook, Tesla and Paypal.
Is way better than some stocks if you consider something called the sharpe ratio which also accounts for return – essentially a risk assessment factor
True. Stocks and crypto go hand in hand for a long time now
Meanwhile I can buy stocks that are down 95% since IPO
This is a little too much spin my dude.
Facebook’s drop was the hardest in the history of the stock market.
Bitcoin crashed by almost 50% long before that crash.
These are crashes we don’t usually see like this with stocks, but are considered normal in the world of crypto.
Lets not forget that Bitcoin crashed because it hit a meme price.
Can stocks be volatile? Yes.
Is crypto more volatile than stocks on average? Yes.
I’d gladly take a 15% drop from crypto. What are you even talking about?
This guy knows how to day dream.
>I can’t remember the last time BTC even dipped 20% as fast as meta did.
I love when new fish come into the yard.
This one is cute.
He’s mine.
