Last week it was all “bull run is back on” and now it’s crypto winter is officially here. Stop living week to week y’all, it’s a good way to burn out.

Basically what the title says, last week many Americans were super bullish on the Super Bowl and all the crypto ads where the “bull run was back on”. People started to get the BTC to 100 or 200k posts ready to go and any potential war between russia and Ukraine were dismissed as FUD.

Fast forward to a whole 7 days later and there are multiple posts about being in a crypto winter for the foreseeable future. This is the volatility that comes with the territory of being in the space so instead of riding the roller coaster it might benefit some to just unplug from the daily/weekly news and chart watching. If you set your limit orders and price alerts then go live your life, it’s much harder to be affected by the constant volatility.

Who knows what’s in store for next week? Personally I think it’s bearish news for the foreseeable future with, coming interest rate hikes, tax season, and the constant threat of global conflict despite institutional involvement being at an all time high.

  1. The trick is to be in crypto winter and bull run at the same time that way you’re always right no matter the market movement… we don’t talk about the crabs…

  2. All I care about is opportunity to accumulate right now so “crypto winter” is better news than a parabolic rise for me. I’m stacking and locking away for at least the next 10 years

  3. It’s stuff like this that just shows how many amateurs are in the market. Sentiment changes far too quickly to people with little experience

  4. People don’t want to accept we are in a downtrend. Those posts aren’t popular so every wick up is flooded with positive sentiment.

  6. For some of us who have invested our entire life saving in crypto (about $40), the up and down of the market are our only form of entertainment

  7. I used to rely on r/cc for a sense of whether the market is bearish or bullish. Now I’ve learned to be smarter and just google “Russia Ukraine”.

  8. I have been pretty consistent. I am bearish for now. But no bear market goes **STRAIGHT DOWN** there are always bounces, but then new lower lows.

  9. I’ve seen the same low IQ posts since 2015 when BTC was at 200 dollars. Every week someone was convinced about ‘muh crypto winter’, ‘this is it, crypto will die, we will never reach ATH again’. Fucking KEK

  10. I have a system regardless of the market sentiment. Each week I invest a 2.5% of my total income adding up to 10% end of month.

Mostly focusing now on DeFi based projects especially ones like BitDAO considering how much they’ve been investing in the DeFi space

  11. All of this is manipulation by whales and derivatives. Bitcoin would be a million dollars if not for the profitability of trading futures and dumping the price when there is momentum. The dollar will continue to devalue and crypto will continue to grow. Just take these dips as opportunities to buy more and keep on moving

  12. The whole topic of crypto winter is missleading. The current asset market situation as once is shit, stocks/ETFs are also doing not very well. The stock market moves like the crypto market sideways with weekly swings up and down.

After the last two years the crypto as well the stock market developed very well. And usually, investors have this gut feeling that after something good comes something bad and ever repeating. The whole market is driven by emotions (stronger as usual)

  13. I join in on the discourse but the best part about DCA is not caring about bull or bear markets. I’m gonna keep buying at the same time every 2 weeks and pray for the best in 5-10 years
