Good morning, welcome to the Apocalypse. All hope abandon ye who enter here.

# “Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch’intrate”

Hey all. Let me be the first to welcome you to the Crypto ~~Winter~~ Apocalypse.

This will **not** be a normal crash the ways we have seen before. Previous crashes were fixed/built upon with the [irresponsible printing of **USD Tethers**]( Seasoned veterans witnessed this and have been

* [Trying](
* [To](
* [Warn](
* [But](
* [You](
* [Were](
* [Greedy](
* [Why didn’t you fucking listen?](

And now the chips are down. The song is stopping. The fires are rising. [Tether is de-pegging]( (for the second time in it’s history) and this time it might be for real.

[As of April, Tether reserves are 35% treasury bonds, 30% commercial papers, **8% cash**, 4% money market funds, and the remaining 23% are issued “secured” loans, corporate bonds, and **crypto**. Yes, the asset supposed to back crypto is backed in part by crypto itself. In other words: Tether is leveraged (albeit shyly, apparently).](

This *should* be you right now: [a quiet soul suffering quietly in the quiet darkness of despair]( Embrace it, for you were here by the actions and decisions you took. This is the price you pay for being in an echo-chamber and only upvoting [ridiculous fucking easily debunkeable threads.](

And now you will burn.

  1. Sold everything (even my moons) last week except Bitcoin. If Bitcoin continues to fall I will buy more around 15k.

  2. And burn ye shall…damnit, ok let’s just get on with selling blood platelets, sperm, and eggs….I hear there is a market for wombs for rent (9 month leases, is that right?) Hopefully, we won’t be reduced to panhandling on corners with creepers looking for sex because that’s off the table, right?
