Crypto is all about freedom, and freedom is always risky. If you’re not prepared for that risk, then crypto is NOT for you.

To many newcomers are entering crypto and getting burned, which is feeding the politicians that want more power over crypto. We don’t want laws to govern what gives us more economic freedom and autonomy.

Crypto is the wild west, and we want it to stay that way. It is NOT safe. It is volatile and there’s plenty of bad actors potentially hiding in every new coin offering. This danger sharpens and evolves the technology. It also challenges the evils of the current economic systems that are predatory on a national scale.

The problem is, that if you enter this market and you get scammed, you’re going to get butthurt and give ammo to those banks and institution that want to kill cryto through government regulation. **So, PLEASE, if you’re new and cannot afford to lose money in crypto, do us all a favor and just exit this sub and don’t look back.**

  1. The wild west was eventually tamed. The same will happen here for the biggest part. Though a part will always remain wild due to crypto nature. Expect more regulations to come in the next 10 years world wide.

  2. The risk and returns is why I’m here

After having a taste of crypto in a bull run it’s too hard to go back to traditional stock investing

  3. This is true, 95% of people should stay as far away from crypto as possible because the danger of losing money is so much higher than the opportunity to make money. That’s why I would never advise someone to get into crypto.

  5. In crypto you need to be responsible for your own money. No one will help you if hoy mess out on blockchain, cause simply no one even can help. It is not bank transaction when you can just call customer service. If you lose crypto, it is lost forever. It give use total freedom and independence, but not everyone want to be responsible.

  6. Every time I see someone crying over losing their family’s life saving to Celsius I think the same thing.

You broke rule #1 don’t speculate/invest with more than you can afford to lose.

And/or rule #2 DYOR – the celsius contract states anyone putting their money in was an uncollateralized lender….

Getting put at the back of the line in a bankruptcy proceeding was in the paper work. People failed to read and now want mommy and daddy to make it better

  8. If you change the word freedom for independence I agree. But it isn’t as risky as you make it sound to be. Don’t get to emotional and follow the r/Cryptocurrency mantras haha

  9. This is why we won’t get “mass adoption”. People think they are, but they aren’t ready to manage their own risks.
