anyone else think the recent events are the perfect storm to create crypto adoption?
if they kick russia out of swift, they will have little other options but to embrace and use crypto currencies for settlements.
the people aren’t just going to lay down and die..no they will adapt and persevere.
Canada showed they can put you in digital jail without so much as a court order. Don’t allow them to do this, take control.
I feel like these messages are now swirling around and will only grow.
The adoption phase of crypto currencies is now on the cusp of exploding. People who never were thinking about crypto are now giving it some thought, and pretty quick alot of Europe and Russia are going to have to figure it out without swift. War or not business is still going to happen.

They already have an alternative system – [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SPFS](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SPFS)
I think there are better examples than Canada’s use of its emergency powers (which have already ended, ~9 days total I think) to stop economic terrorism. As just one example, the Ambassador bridge carries about 1/4 of all daily US-CAN trade — that blockade was terrible for regular people and businesses on both sides of the border (let alone supply chain constraints and country-level issues).
It’s always a good day to DCA
If you think Russia going crypto to bypass sanctions is a “good” thing for crypto 1. Your morals are shot and youre a sad human being. And 2. That is by far the WORST thing that can happen to crypto because the world will see that and crypto WILL 1000% get regulated across the globe.
Tbh if Russia start using crypto heavily to avoid sanctions this is bad news for us, as you can be authorities will try to implement anti crypto legislation to counteract it
