Best Crypto Credit Cards?

What are the best Crypto credit cards available in the market right now (or will soon be available)?

I will have to make some fairly large purchases this year and I was hoping there would be a credit card with 0% APR for 12-24 months that offers rewards like cash-back, but instead of cash the rewards are in Crypto. Ideally ETH or BTC.

I’m gonna have to make these purchases anyway, so just trying to get as much value from these purchases as possible and give myself as lenient as possible terms on repayment.

Otherwise, my other alternatives are paying in cash (not ideal cash-flow wise) or getting financing from more traditional means like a bank loan. Trying to avoid that if possible, but wanted to consider all available options.

Help me avoid going down the traditional finance route, what other options are available to me in the world of crypto?

  1. I don’t think there’s a crypto credit card right now(if there is then I stand corrected)

the cards offered by exchanges right now like crypto.com are prepaid debit cards(which is the best as of the moment cause of many perks)

  2. A few cards do rewards in crypto but I can’t seem to find any that *also* do 0% APR for that long. If the interest rate is what you’re looking for you’ll need to look elsewhere.

~~The three big ones are Crypto.com, Gemini, and BlockFi. Crypto.com offers lots of perks if you stake CRO in their system, but might not be ideal if you don’t want to bother with CRO. Rewards appear to only be paid in CRO which is meh.~~

BlockFi is decent and does 1.5% on all purchases after 90 days (higher introductory rate) but rewards are only paid once a month and folks in the US can no longer earn interest on crypto at BlockFi. I have the BlockFi card and can confirm it works as advertised with rewards paid out in a good variety of different crypto.

Gemini is similar to BlockFi except it does 1% on all purchases (3% dining, 2% groceries), rewards are instantly paid out upon purchase, and you can still earn interest with Gemini in the US. Dozens of different crypto reward options are available.

Edit: Nevermind about the Crypto.com card, it’s a prepaid.

  3. None. Don’t do credit cards unless you can pay off the balance at the end of the month.

What I recommend is to get yourself a Crypto Debit Card since it seems you can pay in cash anyways.

I personally use Coinbase debit card and load it up with USDC for free and get 4% on a crypto of my choice.

CDC obviously has one as well if CB is not an option.

  4. Nexo is the only crypto credit card available atm afaik, as the rest all tend to be prepaid debit cards. However, that doesn’t make any of them bad, you just have to figure out what works best for you.

  5. Ignoring all the other problems with Coinbase, people seem to have liked the Coinbase card since it started rolling out, disclaimer i don’t have it this is just me remembering other posts

  6. Are there other options besides Gemini and Blockfi? I just signed up for a Gemini card so I can stack sats, although as a credit card offering, it’s pretty damn mediocre – no sign-up bonus, standard awards tier split, etc. No annual fee, so I guess you really can’t expect the moon. I would have loved a premium card with lounge access at airports, more rewards and other goodies.
