So I threw some gambling euros on BabyDogeCoin (it’s so cute and this sub hates it so it must moon).
After that I received small amounts of random coins: “ApplyRichToken (ART)”, “ATOM” and “ArenaPlay (APC)”. I don’t see them in the TrustWallet app, because I’d have to add these tokens, I guess. But I can see them on BNBScan.
I remember someone advising to ignore random incoming coins in your wallet because of malicious smart contracts. But how would that work? What would I have to do wrong? Did you make similar experiences and will this go on forever until there are hundreds of coins on my address?
Thanks.
Those are dusting attacks. Form of scam. Just do not interact (don’t try sell) with those tokens and you will be fine.
Hide and ignore! In all fairness ATOM is a real crypto but I doubt its not a dusting attack.
Happy i dont invest in shit and dont get shit send
If you didn’t buy it, don’t interact with it
Simple rule to make sure your funds are safe
Hide them and ignore them, as long as you don’t interact with them you will be fine.
Ignore them. Don’t interact with them.
Hopefully crypto tech will have a solution for this in the future.
If you interact with them, you can lose all your assets! So avoid them at all costs.
Trick question, everything on binance smart chain IS a shitcoin.
Nope … No one care about me …
Non. Shit coins on Binance shitcoin chain? No never.
