This band was named by our beloved original bassist Josh (see Josh and the Electric Palm Tree in our New Year's Eve 2004 photos).  Unknowingly the term was used by a band called Phish for their version of "woodstock" in 1998.  However, below is the definition of a LemonWheel as defined on their website.

 

What's a lemonwheel? A lemonwheel is a slice of lemon (not an eliptical wedge, but a cylindrical slice; and not a half slice, but a full circle), typically cut along the radius (from the center to an edge) and hung on the edge of the mouth glass with certain cocktails.
